The legendary Sauber-Mercedes C11, Nissan R90CK, Jaguar XJR-14, Porsche 962C, and Mazda 787B were on the program for this championship organized by ODS on iconic circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps, Daytona, and Kyalami. After five one-hour races, Fabrice Morelato and Kevin Morville climbed to the top step of the podium.
Congratulations to Fabrice Mistral, who in his first participation in the GTAnna race, and with the help of no less than 20 litres of Verstappen's blood perfused into the carotid, held on for 24 hours without sleeping and secured an impressive second place.
Once again, the LMC has kept all of its promises, amid its share of battles, mistakes and changing track conditions. Between disconnections, pit stops and cold sweats, season 5 ended with a fine 2nd place for the Ferrari crew and a 3rd place for the Porsche in the Hypercar category.
In pre-qualifications, our team proved its solidity and we confirmed it with a pole position obtained by only 6 milliseconds in qualifications. All the indicators were green. Unfortunately, as soon as the first turn of this 24-hour race, another team, too aggressive, hit us while trying to play the victory from the start. Nevertheless, we took the lead again after a few laps. However, a disconnection suddenly relegated us to last place. Later at night, fuel problems and repairs further complicated the task. The order was clear: keep going, avoid errors, and don't take penalties. In the end, thanks to a good pace and the twists and turns of other teams, we managed to get on the third step of the podium. A valuable lesson: never let anything go!
After a first victory in collaboration with Team VSR, followed by another last year, we concede this year the first step on the podium to the very deserving Team RDX, which triumphs brilliantly after 10 years of effort.
